Tahini Recipe

All I knew about Tahini that it is one of the most important ingredient in Hummus.

Tahini Recipe

I used to buy it regularly from shop until I found this super easy recipe. I don’t remember how many times I bought it from super market and wasted money(collectively). So here is my learning : Always check the ingredient lists mentioned at the label even if you buy it regularly :)   Why ? May be it is easy to make it at home then driving to mall and buy it. I should not blame myself, sometimes we are just not aware ( or don’t care) :) .

This inspired me to start a new category in my blog, where I am going to put all my recipes of the basic dishes/meal/sauces/breads  which you normally buy from Shop but can be made easily at home. How about category Money-Saving Recipes ? I agreed that you cannot make everything at home for sake of saving money.  But you can really save a big chunk of money if you can manage to make some ingredients and dishes at home.

I have already put some of my recipes under this new section. Check it out Money-Saving Recipes.

Please let me know you views and ideas. Lets make this more informative.

That’s it?!!! LOL I thought it was a huge complicated process as well. This is fabulous! Thank you so much! I love hummus but it’s so expensive from the store for a tiny little tub of it that is really a snack for the two of that is gone in an evening. I want to make my own so I looked up recipes on Pinterest for hummus and saw your recipe for Tahini tucked in there and am SOOOO glad to find your blog. Will now go through all of your other money saving recipes too. I’ll post this blog to Twitter and Facebook for sure. Just love helpful women like you. I’m not Suzie Homemaker but I do like a little freedom to get creative in the kitchen when I have time. Thanks again. Keep up this fabulous and fun blog, will ya? You’ve got a great new fan in me.
