..hmm only reason to select this little apartment. KL is wonderful place to celebrate new year. The most amazing thing is when the fireworks start near twin tower, all cars and motors stop where ever they are and people come out on road to see the fireworks. Now I don’t go out but prefer my apartment’s window instead

So here is my this year’s last post.
Have you ever made Butter cashew nuts biscuits?
If Yes…Please share the recipe with me
And if your answer is NO, then go ahead and try my recipe…I am sure your gonna love this sweet little treat.
Let me tell you a little secret about today’s recipe. (deep breath). My inspiration was not a famous food blog, or my grand mother’s secret recipe. It is the ingredient list given on a wrapper of biscuit , I’ve recently bought. It was resting in my kitchen’s trash bag when I took it out. Actually I’ve gone thru many recipes, but none of the recipes uses milk powder, which I was pretty sure the key ingredient of the biscuits we bought, so I thought of checking the ingredients and this was why I took it out from trash bag. Well I was so right.

- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ¼ cup milk powder
- ¼ cup butter
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ cup castor sugar
- ⅓ cup cashew nuts pieces
- ½ tablespoons vanilla
- Mix all the ingredients and make dough

- roll dough , flatten slightly and cut into small circles, I used my daughter’s milk bottle cap
I marked lines using fork.
- Preheat oven to 200ºC. now bake biscuits for 30 minutes and then turn all the biscuits and bake it again for 10 minutes. (until slightly brown at the edges)
