Chola Bhatura Recipe

Simplest and the most effective way to make chola bhatura with the pressure cooker without any hassel with chopping and frying the ingredients. I never used any method after trying the chola recipe this way.

Chola Bhatura Recipe, How to make Chola Masala and bhatura.

Chola Masala is a part of famous northern India cuisine. But this one is my special recipe with very less oil. It tastes better than the thick oily gravy masala you normally get in restaurants.

I am always ready to cook chola masala for dinner or lunch. Because no other side dishes are needed with this one. Of course after having one Bhatura (deep fried bread) you won’t feel like having anything else.

But what makes my curry special is the quick homemade Garam Masala. It is a mixture of roasted spices. I don’t make powder, but just grind a little bit in my small stone grinder.

I also steamed chopped onion and tomatoes with the chickpeas instead of cooking it in oil, so you don’t need to make tomato puree or spend more time in cooking and mixing.
